L-189 Small Scale Testing - SCJ Workshop Appendix F

This chapter covers the discussions held on Small Scale Testing (SST) as part of the 3 ½ day workshop on Shaped Charge Jet (SCJ). Parts of the discussions were held jointly with Modelling sub-group due to the requirements of each group and number of participants. A record of the Small Scale Testing discussions will be covered within this chapter whilst the Modelling discussions will be found within Appendix G of the SCJ main report. It is noted that some of the conclusions are shared between both SST and Modelling.

The main aims of the SST sub-group discussion was to provide a summary of current practices within nations, compare and contrast SST, and develop an understanding of their mechanisms and relationship to STANAG 4526.
