L-056 Insensitive Munitions (IM) Assessment

This paper has been written in preparation for the January 2000 NIMIC workshop on small scale testing and modelling. It tries to explain the current situation about IM assessments, and to show how and under which conditions data other than those coming from full scale testing of munitions can be used to build the necessary confidence in these assessments, while optimizing their cost.
