L-023 Sympathetic Reactions Between Munitions

This survey compiles, arranges and analyses a number of documents issued between 1978 and 1995 on various topics:

• threat hazard assessment
• modeling of sympathetic detonation/ explosion
• mitigation recipes for sympathetic detonation1 explosion
• propagation of combustion between munitions
• protocols

This survey has been completed as a preparation to a NIMIC workshop on "Sympathetic Reactions between munitions", to be held in June 1995.

All references are presented with abstracts and with mentions of elementary topics relevant to the workshop. They are assembled by nations. A compilation by descriptors allows to search documents by topics (140 references).
